Sport, passion and solidarity

IMG_5373

Luxembourgish skier Matthieu Osch, a three‑time Olympian, donated his racing suit worn at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan‑Cortina by putting it up for auction in support of the Fondation Lëtzebuerger Kannerduerf. A strong gesture that goes beyond sport, reflecting the trust and commitment of external partners to our mission.

The auction was won by Dave Feltus, a passionate skier who shares this enthusiasm with his daughter Leni. Already familiar with the slopes, she has taken her first steps on competitive ski circuits. The racing suit has thus found a new home with true ski enthusiasts. Moved by this transmission of sporting passion, Matthieu Osch personally handed over his suit to the Feltus family and accompanied them during their visit to our Mersch site.

The Foundation warmly thanks Matthieu Osch for his commitment and availability, as well as the Feltus family who, through this act of solidarity, provide concrete support for our work.

The amount raised will be entirely allocated to specific support measures for the children and young people accompanied by the Foundation.
